Our WONDERFUL week at Summer Service Week 2025 is in the books! ⚓️ We spent our work days at the Cadet Campground (clearing camp sites and splitting wood), Ditto (sweeping, labeling and sorting merchandise), FellinLove farm (weeding, mucking stalls and swimming) & Community Action House (sorting clothing, packing donated food and organizing the sales floor). Our final day was spent lazin’ down the Muskegon River! ☀️ GOD SHOWED UP! Soooo thankful for a wonderful, Spirit-filled week after a tough go of it last year. These students are simply the best! A huge thank you to Harderwyk Church for hosting us and facilitating an awesome week!

Another community of imperfect students (but slightly older, 9th-12th grade) walking together to learn, love, and live the Gospel to boldly share Jesus' love and hope each day. We enjoy laughing together, worshipping as the Body, serving our community, asking questions of the Biblical text and cultivating real, authentic relationships among small groups of students. We strive to ensure each and every student knows that they are seen, heard, valued, known & loved - not only by us, but by the Lord. Walk with us on Sunday evenings during the school year (and select Sundays in the summer) from 6:00-8:00pm up in the Loft here at Providence. Join us!

Overview

Providence Students exists to provide experiences where students sixth through twelfth grade can deepen their connection with Jesus. Our desire is that students experience real & authentic community, worship, and engagement with Scripture.

All of our volunteers are trained in our Child Protection Policy and have been cleared through a background check.

Safe Church Volunteer Training For Children's & Student Ministries **participants must be 18 years or older 

This training will take place in the Loft on August 17 from 11:30-1:30pm. Lunch will be provided.

  • Please sign up to attend this training HERE so that we order enough food for everyone.

  • Those required to attend this training are those currently serving in children’s and student ministries, on the safety team and Providence leadership (all council and staff).

  • If you cannot attend this mandatory training, please let us know via the sign-up as soon as possible so we can arrange an alternate way for you to receive this information.
